LEGO 40709 Spring Animal Playground is a Seasonal Easter set released in 2024, containing 172 pieces. The build depicts an animal play area with a brown squirrel and yellow chick, centered around a tree with a treehouse platform. Play features include a working seesaw, a ramp for the animals, and a hideaway space beneath the ramp, along with a small campfire. The scene is accented with a couple of Easter eggs.
It was retired in November 2025 with a lifespan of 22 months.

Used sets are shipped assembled. Some minor disassembly may be required for packing. Each set will be packed as carefully as possible, but it is virtually guaranteed that additional disassembly will occur during shipping.
